I hear everyone passing all the the blame of these environmental and economic crimes on BP, don't get me wrong BP is the company that controlled the drilling but in my humble opinion BP is not the only one at fault and to some point may be a victim also. I do not work for BP nor do I own any stocks in BP, this is just my personal observations. My heart goes out to all directly affected by this spill and as a Louisiana citizen, I will be affected indirectly as will the rest of the nation will be if what Obama is doing continues.

First, the state of LA had permitted BP to drill in 500' of water but the federal government said no, if you want to drill you have to drill in 5000' of water knowing that there was very little experience with drilling at a depth of a mile deep. The Obama administration awarded BP safety awards when BP has many other mishaps; this in my opinion is just another ploy of our forked tongue leader Obama.

Right before the explosion the MMS had left the rig giving BP its blessings; MMS approved all the actions of BP, so does that mean the BP was playing by all the federal rules? It seems like it, as we have witnessed, the Obama administration changes the rules, breaks contract, passes unconstitutional laws, stands with foreign countries against states of the USA and does not follow the laws of the land that the Obama administration does not like.

We do not know the cause of the accident, yet Obama wants to shut the drilling down in the Gulf, which means the rigs will leave to do drilling elsewhere in the world and this action will kill 30% USA production of oil making us further dependent of foreign countries who do not really like us. Remember how the oil prices spiked so high that the family budgets went completely out of whack, but more important that no one seems to be paying that much attention to is that Brazil has had a large find of oil off its shores and remember who will be funding the Brazil drilling, yea that’s right, Obama has promised funding for the Brazil exploration drilling, so once again we the American taxpayer will be getting the royal shaft from our forked tongue leader Obama, we will be paying for the drilling in Brazil while we will lose jobs. This is what Obama wants, to have more American citizens dependent on government thus giving Obama more control over all of our lives.

BP is responsible for stopping the oil from flowing uncontrollable, but they are drilling in federal water, which means the federal government controls the game. Why did Obama refuse international help to in the clean up? The Jones Act that demands union workers, LA is a right to work state with very few union workers is this one of the ways he is paying back the unions? Did we not all hear Obama state that he is responsible? Does he know the meaning of responsible, IMHO, how can a liar know what responsibility is as he continues to try to blame others for his failure to prevent this oil from reaching to our coastline destroying our fishing ground, our barrier islands, our economy and our environment.

If we do not do our own drilling, just what makes you think that another country won’t start drilling right out the federal waters with directional drilling, thus stealing our oil while paying zero royalties? If the offending drilling country happens to have a spill similar to this one who do you think will have to pay and still get the green weenie?

Every plan that was mentioned to say our coast met with disapproval. No, can’t build a barrier island by adding more rocks because it may impact the environment, say what! What about the damage to the environment by all this oil reaching the coast? These federal idiots are the ones who should be arrested for crimes to our environment and economy.

What the hell do you think the inaction of this man who really wants to dictate every aspect of every American’s life? This man and his cronies are doing exactly what they want to do and are using BP as a scapegoat. Obama wants to weaken and destroy America, all you have to do is really listen to him speak, he says one thing and when he does don’t believe it because he means the complete opposite of what he says. How can you trust a liar and a person who has no honor? He is a whiner and is still trying to blame Bush for everything, what happen to his statement of he was the responsible party?

There are many environmentally safe ways to clean this oil up, but Obama’s inaction has prevented these methods to be used instead using a chemical to disperse the oil that has been outlaw in Britain, because of its destruction to marine life. He is in control but yet BP continues to use the chemical while USA citizens are prevented from cleaning up because the Coast Guard needs to see if there are enough life jackets on board, believe me these professional fishermen and sea people know the rules of the water.

A mile in the water is really deep, who can see a mile deep in the water? With all the games that Obama and crew has been playing, how can we be sure that sabotage may have not been the cause of this disaster? IMHO, this is still a possibility. Both way, what Obama is doing is unacceptable, is a crime and it is possible that BP is an Obama victim also.

We must stand tall against this man who wants to be the dictator of the USA and the world. I am proud to be an American and will do all in my little power to protect our Constitution; I pray that you will do the same. Arrest this criminal!

We must save our Gulf, BP and Obama need to quit the blame game and STOP THE OIL Shot by Robert M. Young and Edward James Olmos on a trip to the heart of the oil spill in the Gulf. Edited by Stephen Cohen. Robert Young and I jumped on a plane and went to the Gulf of Mexico just to lend our support by documenting what we saw... Well, the people that we met took up all of our time. It was brutal! I was not ready for the human aspect because no one had prepared me for it. I thought they would be angry. They are devastated. Take a look at this video and see for yourself. People are afraid to talk and you will learn why watching this... Please pass it on, recommend it. If you feel like doing something, just go down there (anywhere on the Gulf) and support by spending time and energy in the region. They need our support. Thank you for Caring.
